Nice looking book, good information! Nice addition to the library of gardening.

I am pleased with this book and glad I bought it, despite his age (1995). Best features are the colorful photos, layout, useful and 395 pages. First half is composed of different gardens, e. G., Cottage-look, formal English gardens, herbs, hummingbird gardens, rock gardens, etc. Back half are separate sections listing perennials, annuals, bulbs, roses, ferns, etc.

And this device is easy to find and read about individual species.

Another positive is the number of entries throughout the book, e. G., butterfly attracting flowers, blue-hued flowers purple, fragrant flowers, etc. Each of these segments roll down to perennials, annuals, bulbs, and flowering time. Basically, this book is a good reference tool, and full of colors that makes it pleasant to use.

The Better Homes & Gardens Complete Guide to Flower Gardening, is exactly what the title says.

It is very informative and complete, and exactly what a beginner like myself needs.

This is a great gardening book I bought was used and was in excellent condition. I saved this much money buying used instead of purchasing new.

It will help me figure out what to plant, where to the factory, and soil type of the unit must survive. Our territory is not that great, so plant species that are persistent, tough plants that require little maintenance.
