Why not try in your neighbor hood, if you can exchange some plants.

As a recipe swap, try a swap plants.

If you have a nice plant or bush in your yard, try to get a start from it and swap with a neighbor to start one of their own. Is a fun excuse to get out and about and maybe talk with your friends. Or try a neighborhood garden where all buy some factory and work together and rep the rewards.

The dollar store sells seeds really makes sense, you also get seeds from some of the vegetables you eat, for example, green peppers, canteloupe, tomatoes, potatoes (make sure they have their eyes should be cut a chunk and plants eyes up, deep cover, somewhat like a large hill) use your imagination. Planting and try different things

Go to craigslist or your local Freecycle list and seed application an/dor plants. I’m sure there are people who are willing to share their seed.

The only thing I can suggest is to look at local online Freecycle group and ask for seeds.

There are many places online that can give you free seeds if they send a self addressed envelope. I start my veggie garden this year. Happy Gardening!
